The best part about repeat stories from Joey is you usually get a couple extra details, sorta like watching The Sopranos again and catching things you missed the first time.

@@imemberberry Those were my thoughts exactly! Well said! Sometimes when you tell a story you might forget a detail or two and then when you're telling it again suddenly it can spark those memories of something you accidentally left out, I've heard these stories so many times and once in a while, as you said, he'll remember something about it that he hasn't said before and bless us with even more TREMENDOUSNESS!!! Joey Diaz is one of the most real and humble human beings to ever exist in my opinion. He's got a damn good heart, he's a rare breed and people like him are few and far between. He's like a precious gem that's hard to find, but lucky for us, we found him!

The best things about uncle joeys fans is that they’re 100% bought in true fans of him not only in comedy but Unc as a person. I’ve never met a person who was a fan of Coco that was a halfway fan. His fan base is either all the way in and the people that aren’t fans of him just don’t know him. That man’s an inspiration to many and he may not even know it.

Part 2 just as amazing as Part 1. Stuck with this all the way through. Love hearing the New York/Jersey stories and half Italian/half Irish and living in New York in the 1970s, 80s every now and then you brush up against people in another life you find fascinating but know its not for you so you keep some distance. The comedy clubs in the village and the crazy scuffles now and then remind you that you are in New York and anything can happen. Among the Italians and suddenly you are family. That was always special to me. I never forgot that no matter where I traveled or lived in in America. That you could never duplicate again.

I swear on EVERYTHING I love, the last part of this interview blew my mind, especially the "the kids in heaven and he decides if he wants to come down.... "the witches gave you your baby". Downright PHILOSOPHICAL!!! fucking LOVE this guy! But have a new respect for this man now. I never had my parents and my mom spent 30 years in prison, was a meth addict and have only had her in my life for about 16 years now, clean for 11 years. My step dad was Mexican and Puerto Rican and raised me from a pup to about 17 and miss that man everyday. Long story short, show the people you love them while they are here and keep them alive by sharing memories and stories of them and you. 1 love, God damn Joey you da man!!
