JRE would be a lot better if you didnt have to hear JR pretend to be smart. At least he got rid of redban, that''s one step in the right direction
@06livefast9 жыл бұрын
+John Jillling It's because Joey can actually carry a conversation that's at least normal and not some obscure rant 20 minute rant about what some random salimander does in the amazon when it rains sideways in February. Joey also doesn't talk over his guests which allows for a much more smooth and flowing exchange of ideas and philosophies, rather than just surviving Joe Rogan's ridiculous neanderthal wikipedia ph-d perception towards topics like philosophy and archeology and science, and you're left just sitting there wondering what the fuck is the even point of this conversation. Also, Joey doesn't put up with bullshit, once he sees something fucked, he backs off an doesn't talk to you. Whereas Joe has been awkwardly bumping into the elephant in the room that is Brian Redban since day 1 and never actually tells him to fuck off and stop speaking to that child molesting sociopath like any one else in their right mind would would have by episode 100. That stupid shit he does only lasts so long, then it becomes too much man. Joey and Lee have an awesome chemistry where they can literally sit down and have a beautiful conversation as friends, about life as if Joey is lee's father lol. I think the JRE was over by episode 200, and ever since then Joe it's been an overdrawn diluted version of Joe not being able to say no. Ever since this podcast started, it's been this and the onnit podcast bro. Everything else is next to intolerable.

As a kid in his mid-twenties who grew up without a powerful father-figure in my life, I take all the motivation and advice I can get because it's not there bro. I can't pick up the phone and call my pops to ask him what to do, I had to teach myself how to shave and how to work a shower instead of baths, how to stand tall with my shoulders back and speak with confidence, how to walk like I have places to be with a purpose. This isn't to complain, this is just appreciation for powerful male figures giving advice for the masses through life experiences and blood sweat and tears. JRE and this podcast have helped me big time the past 4 years. Thanks Joey

I don't know about anyone else that watches joeys podcasts, but a lot of people blow smoke up joeys ass from the comments section, and rightly so he's a very interesting and funny guy, but I think lee is coming his own, his mind is opening massively still a little shy at the beginning but when he starts opening up, its awesome, It's great to watch another person develop in such a positive and interesting manner.

I joined the Navy early in life, 26 years later I am retired in my early 40s and I volunteer in my friends tattoo shop. No student loans; I hunt, fish, work out, read history, learn languages, watch The Church and hang out with my wife and son. The military is not for everyone but if you have a goal to retire young, suck it up, work hard, save and then play for the last 30-40 years of your life.

You don't go to school for 6 to 8 years to get your Master's degree to be an unpaid intern Lee.
@88ranchok9 жыл бұрын
like Uncle joey said he can look at somebody and tell if they're fat or if they like to eat a lot I don't think he's trying hard enough I don't think he's applying himself like he should that or they see that he's high and they don't want to hire him because they think he's going to be unreliable banging heroin for breakfast
@zshakur9 жыл бұрын
I'm talking about his statement, not Lee's actual predicament. He's doing a great job of seizing his opportunities. It' just doesn't make sense to say some one should spend so much time in school and be happy with an unpaid internship. That's not what you get your masters or doctorate for. The dream they sell you is more education=higher pay, which isn't as true today as it was 20 or 30 years ago.

There's #1 getting ahead in life because you busted your ass off. And #2 there's getting ahead somewhere because you made the most of a great opportunity: you worked hard AFTER you got the chance, but you still were GIVEN a chance. Lee is the 2nd. Everything Joey says resonates as true advice because he's the 1st one, but everything Lee says makes me want to punch his shit because he's in the second category pretending like he's in the first. Not to mention the system's straight up broken if Master's degrees cant even get entry level shit.
