The way Nicolas Jackson is so underrated by your own fans is ridiculous. Nowadays everyone wants a young player to be world class straight away. The lad hasn’t even been a professional footballer for long and is only 23 years old. First season in a new league 14 goals and 5 assist! Give the lad one more season, a year and let’s see if we can see progress, that’s how football works. He’ll probably lead the line next season and lets all get behind him instead this negativity against our own. And Fabrizo just said that all this nonsense about Jackson moving on is just a lot of rubbish and the board see him as an important player for the future. Anyone thinking we getting isak this summer is delusional , we didn’t wanna pay the wages for Williams but wanna buy isak who gonna cost upwards 120 mil

I agree. Marc seems to be very genuine, humble, and appreciative of the opportunity to play in the premier league. From the conversations between him and his grandfather, you can tell that this transfer means a lot to him and his love for the beautiful game extends beyond the financial aspect. The one thing everyone misses is Isak has 21 goals but 5 are penalties. Jackson has 14 goals but none are penalties. So if you want to compare apples to apples, Isak 16 and Jackson 14. Not too bad for his 1st year.

how many big signings we did and how many of them have succeeded ? lukaku, torres were in more prime than isak when we bought them but what have they done... our problem is defence more than goals..we could have won with some 1-0 and draws if we had a stable defence....jackson had justified more than his price tag ... he helped a lot in build up play..played on wings ..scored 14 goals which is good

As a LFC fan, in my opinion I would still sign ISAK even though his injury prone. Reason being is, he will be by main man and still play at least 30 league games and get roughly 20 goals - Thats brilliant! Then that means Jota and Nunez will still need to step up. Just dont play ISAK for a full 90 give him at least 60 to 75 mins.

The fact that Chelsea were even in for Isak show the ludicrous nature of FFP. The amount of money Chelsea have spent since new owner walked through the door is ridiculous yet Newcastle need to sell two promising players or we’d fall short of the rules and points deductions etc despite being debt free and having the richest club in the world.
