We’re on a great little run right now, finishing the season on a high when a couple of months ago we were lower mid in the table. So much has changed, playing good football and you can see the belief in the players. I get a little frustrated with the slow play from the back and the only way that changes is when we go behind. To be honest I’ve still got the jitters that we may still stumble but that’s because of the way our seasons been, unpredictable. Poch is getting things right and no matter if we make Europe or not he should start next campaign as our manager. Com On You Blues!

For the first time in absolutely ages I’m optimistic about the future for us! We have so much talent coming to fruition and it’s gonna be a struggle to give them all game time without taking away the continuity, just hope they get it right but I trust in poch. I’d like to see us keep Jackson as our starting striker for years to come with nkunku in behind. Fofana on the bench as backup. Keep an eye out for dujuan Richards though, looks like an absolute gem in the u21s

Nice podcast as always. We've got a very versatile and talented frontline. I think next season Poch should stick with the frontline that has shown the most chemistry and can interchange positions in-game seamlessly. Nkunku x Jackson can both switch between the LW and CF positions, and have shown synergy. Jackson has also shown to partner well with Noni, going by this our front 3 should be Nkunku x Jackson x Noni with Cole as the no 10 which I feel is the best position to leverage on his IQ, creativity, vision, link up play, ball distribution and being able to contribute to building up offensive transitions and controlling the game from the midfield. Personally see Cole Palmer as a hybrid of the likes of Juan Mata/David Silva x Mesut Ozil. Playing as a 10 lets him leverage on all his best abilities, then we let the forwards thrive on his creativity. He can always switch into forward positions when he finds an opening and be on the receiving end of chances, like we saw him receive the pass from Caicedo. Mudryk is the odd one out since he's behind all these guys in terms of technical ability, and chemistry with players. Of course Poch would switch out Nkunku for him in some fixtures so Nkunku can stay fit as long as possible and Mudryk can also improve on hiss shortcomings Now imagine how productive these lads would be with the likes of Enzo x James in their best forms and are available throughout the season.

In pre season, Nkunku and Nico Jax were debatably the best and most exciting part of that brief promising run of games. Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke have been playing very well together for years in the underage England teams. Nkunku and Jackson can both play LW and striker. Cole and Madueke both play from the right. Palmer and Nkunku can both play as a ten. Chukwuemeka can be rotated in and out, he needs lots of game time. That front 4 is potentially very exciting if we can tighten up at the back and the 200m double pivot learn to play together and dictate games

If I were to pick a player from Brighton it would Def be mitoma..... He is great on the left wing always ready to make runs, cuts in with his right foot to take a shot or drives the ball to the byline before giving the cross with his left foot..... Classic winger and he has 2 eyes for goals😂

Graham Potter may be a good manager, he may do well at another team BUT he was NOT the right manager for Chelsea. My main issue with him, before even getting into tactics and actual football... is his mentality and attitude in press conferences.. "we will try to do better than last season" , "hopefully we can get a positive result" etc... accepting draws away to small teams, his whole mentality was of a small club manager. Meanwhile from the off pochettino has said "we have to win." Which is exactly what i expect from a Chelsea manager, Potter isnt ready.

if Cold Palmer has a poor 2nd season I think it will be just because he has a natural dip. don't think he'll have 2nd season syndrome, his game is too effective. His head's up, very hard to get off the ball and then he can shoot or pass on a dime. it's not like "oh this guy's good in the air, put a body on him and do the dark arts and we can limit his threat". nah Cole can do this from all over the pitch in any way he needs, it's not really something you can shut down. He'll crush it next season as well. he can push for the ballon d'or next season, no joke, so doubt we see a regression from the lad

With IQ on Cole Palmer, the only way he dips is if the whole team drops drastically in form, and we've seen him do well at this chaotic Chelsea. He may actually not have as much goal contributions as he's got this season since the work load would most likely be shared between himself and other top players, but his performances would be on par or even better than this season cos he'd keep improving as a player, and be playing in a significantly better squad. Also I won't be surprised if he produces similar or better numbers next season especially if players like James and Nkunku are contributing to creating and converting chances, players like Enzo may return and be in their best form, Jackson can improve on his finishing and we may get an elite CF this summer to convert more of the chances he's creating. So ideally he'd most likely improve on his assist metric, his goals may dip though. New striker may be the PK taker, and he may be given the responsibility of creating chances as opposed to converting them.

Definitely could play on the left. Or at the ten a Palmer on the right. Can also play the 9 if needed. Gotta let him play some before we talk abt selling him. Him and Palmer could be crazy
