Okai so, the gun sound... this is hard to explain lel For sure you know there is a fictional story in every BTS video at this point. In every physical album they sell there is this little kind of notebook called "the notes". It's like a diary, but only some special days are there. LY: answer's notes have an entry about Jungkook wanting to comit suicide, and because of the description of the scene it could refer to euphoria's original video (it's like 10 min. Long). So yeah, maybe it's related. Dude you could create a new serie like "discovering the Bangtan Universe with you" (BU, that's the official name for all these theories and stuff) I know you usually react to music but, that would be really interesting xD

@@esrow5168 not really said explicitly but implied along with the chiptunes that dj swivel added (the video game flourish he added after the loading cassete sound) back in the days in between digitized music and analog you could only have that sound in a live set if you repurposed old cartridge handheld games. If you look up chiptunes you'll see in many live sets that the dj will have an old handheld gaming console as if they were launch pads, that being said chiptunes are also often associated with the innocence of childhood and the joy you would find in simpler times when you were a child. honestly really clever on dj swivel's side along with lumpens because together it tells a story, all these small details as nods to things jk loves placed in a song along with the visuals of the video and his brothers whom we know took up a large part of his adolescence and by extention his innocence is really mind blowing when you connect them as double meaning to their name and as a second part to BEGIN

And now I understand the main reason why I love bts; it's because they aren't afraid of doing new sounds. I mean, we don't need to hear other albums one by one to notice they experiment with the sounds. Love Yourself: Tear is the perfect example of music freedom. We have songs like Airplane pt.2 with this tropical-ish, mariachi sounds, then So What with all those electronical vibes, then 134340 with that relaxing lo-fi style (which, btw, I love and is my favorite from the album, thanks yoongi for that masterpiece), then we have those powerful hip-hop sounds with Outro: Tear, and idk man, that's amazing. I just love how they aren't afraid to be out of the box, musically talking, and that's awesome. We don't see those kind of artists in the western media so much (I'm from LatinAmerica, so in my case the only things that I can hear that are different in the radio is bts, after that I only hear copies of Despacito or Bad Bunny but with different names basically adhsja) Thank you man for doing this videos, I'm learning about producing after seeing your passion with producing, and I always find lovely when you talk about producing, or hearing other people's work. (sorry if y'all see some grammatical flaws, I'm still not that fluent in english asdhja)

Who would've thought the "flute type" was actually a vocal... I was also dumbfounded ESPECIALLY that one. Cool reaction btw!

Joey!!!! 👍👍👏👏👏👏 Great job. Ain't no doubt Swivel is a great producer, but you ain't no new kid off the block. I love hearing your reactions as a producer, and this one was really fun. Thanks for putting yourself out there.

Thanks for taking the time to do this review! It's interesting to see your perspective as a producer and your reaction to another producer. This might be a silly question, but what did DJ Swivel mean by using Alicia Keys' piano? Thanks for being honest about what you don't know too. We're learning a lot from you. I have respect for music producers and the amount of effort put into song production. So cool to see the different layers of a song. It's like a really tall music lasagna lol.

Bro, love that you mentioned how music is here in the US and how there is so much more freedom in K-pop or anywhere for that matter. Wish it wasn't like that but it is and keep doing what you do man.

They made a remix not long ago of this song, and it’s so beautiful! It has kind of like a epic movie music vibe

Can you also do this COMBO reaction to Red Velvet - Bad Boy too? There's a making video with producers of that song, The Stereotypes, a grammy winning production team who have worked with Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, etc.

I really liked that. I watched the original, but then you having you review it again, I feel like I learned more... (I feel like you got a lil inspired too 😄.) If you ever produce a BTS song, don't forget us!
