I actually preferred ice Princess because this movie gave the stereotype that figure skaters are selfish, and that they are all enemies. I also hated that the main character is dating some guys that is 18 at the youngest. I’m only glad that they had more of a realistic point of how long it takes to land jumps, unlike ice Princess. But this movie does have an inaccuracy; she is 14 in the movie, but the thing is, you have to be at least 15 to be in the olympics, but she still gets to go to the olympics.

So I LOVED this movie why because I'm a figure skate and an ice hockey player and this movie just rocked. Though its kinda funny I was an ice hockey player first then went to figure skating but I still love them both. and TRUST me Ice hockey skates are different then Figure skates when your trying to pratice.

can anyone help me with the name of a different ice skating disney movie? it was about an ice hockey player and an ice skater and both of them had injuries that caused them to "die" but the ice hockey player got his mind switched to the ice skater's body, while his original body stayed in coma. he basically had to learn to ice skate and do tricks and to become humble and at the end he came back to his body, while the ice skating girl actually died, i think? or she woke up, and he died? can't remember. but it was really good and i can't remember the name of it :/ thank you

Because figure skating is a predominately feminine sport that's associated with girls. Especially with old Disney, it's much easier to market a figure skating movie towards aspiring little girls than boys.
