Jog Falls | Bangalore to Jog Falls drive | Highest waterfalls in India | complete guide

Jog falls is one of the highest waterfalls in India. Here is a complete guide for planning a trip to Jog falls.
Formed by Sharavathi river in western ghats in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. It has four streams named Raja, Rani, Rocket and Roarer. Longest drop of height of a stream is 833 feet.
From Bangalore it will take 7 and a half hours to reach Jog falls. Distance of 420 kms and toll charges add up to Rs. 315. For over night stay you can checkout options in Shimoga or Sagara.
Parking is Rs.70 and there are two view points and the view points are at 5 minutes driving distance. Best time to visit is post monsoon to view the falls in it's glorious self.
