Ich bin selbst aus Bremen und hatte diese Sonate in meiner Jugendzeit auch auf dem Cello gespielt, und so freut es mich sie jetzt "richtig" zu hören. Später hatte ich sie als Trio für Geige, Bratsche und Cello umgearbeitet. Wirklich eine schöne Interpretation, muchas felicidades al Sr. Néstor Cortés, quien parece como si fuera él mismo de esta época, und ebenso auch Glückwünsche fü Nadine Remmert. Fand das im Rose-Saal des Neuen Rathauses oder im alten Rathaus statt? Die obere Rathaushalle kann es wohl nicht sein...

Okay, something bugged me immediately when I watched it He is holding the bow the wrong way, isn't he? Is there a reason for that?

​@@akkefit Yeah, the viola da gamba bow is supposed to be held underhand. I suggest you watch some videos from Sam Stadlen so you see what I mean

Dear @@aronasmundurjonasson3175 , thank you for your comment. Néstor Cortés is actually not playing a Viola da Gamba in this video, but a 5-string Violoncello (or Violoncello piccolo), that's why he's holding the bow this way. This instrument was also used by Bach in some of his Cantatas or the Cello Suite No. 6, for example. Have a nice day!
