Johanna Basford Ivy & the Inky Butterfly - basic shadow / shadowing technique

Tools used - tracing paper, HB pencil, Prismacolours - 70% French grey, Yellow Chartreuse, Chartreuse, Spring Green, Grass Green, Peacock Green. Arabic Gold Coliro Pearlcolor watercolour paint.

Fabulous technique as always Claire. What a very simple, but stunningly effective idea! Maggie Cooke is incredible isn't she.. I love her work. She seems like such a lovely lady too.
