My sister had a friend who introduced her to a small Japanese store which still exists, and sales and rents mangas and anime dvds. That place became their paradise, and they builded up a large group of fujoshi friends there. It is great having a family member who shares the same passion. Do take good care of your younger sister, na. Cheers...!

If you also dont want to go on a manhunt for a movie made in the 90’s with a sad ending but still wanna know the story it told heres what i found on the internet for a plot summary The movie is built around the very complex relationships between Yoshida, leaving Shimizu for Aihara (or at least he tries to), and his friend Ito, whose love for Yoshida seems to have little chance for success. In the end we have a coalition of Ito and Aihara - who may or may not be in love with Ito - teaching Yoshida a lesson. -Anonymous A realistic movie about the struggles of a few teenagers (about 18) of a school in Japan. One of the boys has fallen in love with his best friend and can not hide this any longer. The movie tries to create understanding for his homosexual feelings by showing a parallel development of a relation between a boy and a girl.

When I post a link in a KZbin comment it gets deleted, but the film is available on DVD with English subtitles from shops that export Japanese media, like Amazon Japan, CDJapan, YesAsia. Search for “渚のシンドバッド” on them. I’ve never seen it available to stream outside Japan (and believe me I’ve looked), though some other HASHIGUCHI Ryosuke films are (”Slight Fever of a 20-Year-Old” and “All Around Us” in Northern America”; “hush!” in at least the UK as well). Apparently, “Like Grains of Sand” was released English-subbed on VHS in the UK. So getting one of those is another way of seeing it in theory, if even more unlikely.

Soy fujoshi hace años y si ver material BL era mucho mas dificil que ahora, asi que me puedo jactar de haber visto casi el 100% de peliculas, cortos y series LGBT Around the world no solo de asia y no es broma, literalmente he visto todo hasta lo mas underground, y he leido al menos el 90% de mangas, manhwas y manhuas, y obvio animes basados en la historia u originales del tema, leyendo fanfic y escribiendolo Buscando inspiracion en anime, actores, skinship de idols o Nopor lo basico jajaja, (ya estoy perdida), En fin antes te conformabas con esos finales tristes de suicidio que te dejaban con depresion por una semana y con miradas en vez de besos, al menos en este movie hay besos y una historia terminada, me encanta que todo sea mas liberado y natural pero no me engaño asia es asia aun asi me encanta el BL, al cual llamabamos Yaoi, Bishonen, Lemon y Slash da igual es el trasfondo lo importante.

“hush!” is one from the same writer and director that’s relatively lighter. And easier to see internationally (it’s on Dekkoo, whereas as far as I can find out you’d need to import the Japanese DVD to see “Like Grains of Sand” in official capacity, but at least it has English subtitles).
