That's the pity about a single-line instrument, you have to play with others !! At least the tempo is right. It's so much easier to play a melody on the violin when you have to concentrate solely on the sound of one note to the next. Was Brahms right in writing this for solo piano? He should know. I dislike arrangements even when the performance is good.
