Whenever I watch BAND-MAID live they all are smiling as you mentioned. They are all up there having a good time and you cant help but feel good watching them. Great video, great reaction, great song!

This is an amazing band. They all are top notch musicians. The drummer Akane is a beast of a drummer. When Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin saw Band-Maid live in Tokyo in 2016 said Akane was the reincarnation of John Bonham. Can't think of a better compliment of being compared to John Bonham from Jimmy Page himself.

They definitely leaned a little more Pop on this one. They're not a metal band, so at some level it's to be expected. We still get MISA's dancing bass in unexpected places, and the song construction, adding layers through the song to give it a little depth, remains present. Whoever mics the drums for their live shows does a really good job, they're always crystal clear. Weirdly the lead guitar suffers in a lot of their mixes. Try this one, "Take Me Higher!!"
