What stood out to me from this preaching: that the enemy comes and pretends to give the sheep what they want, but avoid the shepherd. It hit me that all these new age methods, they bring you under the thought "we are all one, you are god, there is god in you through, (aimless meditation, yoga, astrology, reiki, ayahuasca, luck, gratitude list but not to God, some therapy, they convince you that you can do it on your own" but they never include God or Jesus our shepherd in those teachings, they call him energy, universe. For long time I thought I was spiritual but aimless one, it is like you're floating in the galaxy alone no one to receive you or guide you and was falling in and out of depression, and anxiety followed me more, and strayed away from Jesus :( they come in false pretend , separate you from your shepherd, make you spend your money on their endless courses but you find yourself more lost.

Jesus Christ is my shepherd 🤍 For the last 27 years, I ignored my Shepherd's voice, but now, finally, I listened carefully and heard Him calling for me and went back to Him.🤍🤍🤍

These verses are close to my heart, especially verse 3. I had a supernatural experience one day while praying. Thoughts out of nowhere started coming to me about someone coming to the door and knocking. I asked myself what if he knocks and I open the door? What will he say? There was about 60 sec of quiet when I heard very loud and clear, as if someone was standing right next to me. The voice said, "Hi Jessica!" I had no idea what this was at first, but then I realized that this is the voice of God. I felt truly blessed to have had this experience. At the time, I was a new Christian and didn't even realize this was an actual verse in the bible.

Thank you Pastor Paul I love Ps 23. It's God's promise to us. He is our Shepherd and provider and we do need to remember this especially when our world get's a bit crazy. He is in the mist of the craziness and He will lead us out. You bless us with your teaching. Blessings to you and your family Pastor Paul.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Im remembering this verse. My shepherd guarding my heart. “No one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:29)

I live in Texas, middle of goat country. Half the deacons are ranchers. Half the congregation own goats or sheep and maybe a few cows. This use to be the Angora goat capital of the world. Not true anymore but there are a lot. Say one false statement about goats or sheep at my church, the congregation will correct you in unison. BTW, being compared to goats is not flattering either. I own dairy goats. Goats are jerks.

Sheep are born looking for a place to die! They need guard dogs.
