I could envision parts the Lord’s Supper. What a remarkable and heart breaking chapter. This chapter has taught be to allow Jesus in all areas of my life, not just areas where I think I need Him, but in all areas. And allow Jesus to wash me of all my fleshly desires and thoughts. I don’t want to live a life partially for the Lord, I humbly surrender it all to Him in Jesus Name🙏🏾❤️

The term Kyrios (lord) from Greek was translated from Aramaic (mari). In everyday Aramaic, Mari was a very respectful form of polite address, well above "teacher" and similar to rabbi. In Greek this has at times been translated as kyrios. While the term Mari expressed the relationship between Jesus and his disciples during his life, Christians eventually came to interpret the Greek kyrios as representing lordship over.
