Wine symbolises the Holy Spirit because of its intoxicating power. When the Holy Spirit comes in the form of wine, He is simply saying, 'if the husband drinks love and the woman drinks submission, they will never miss it in their marriage because they both come under the influence. That is the purpose of wine. There will be joy in a marriage where there was no joy."

"Jesus perceived that the mother was asking for God to show up, and God answered. The one speaking here is God because only God can call Mary woman; God cannot call Mary Mother. God is the God of the mother. So, the one answering is the Almighty God. Now, the conversation is no longer natural, it's a spiritual conversation."

"As the servant is approaching the governor, God is adding years to the water, doing the invisible planting, watering, grape crushing processes. By the time the expert tastes the wine, it must be wine, so that when he gives an account it is not less than something valuable in quality."
