The great lesson is not the miracle here, but the blind man's faith and obedience. He had never known or heard of Jesus before, but somehow believed and obeyed him. If you were the blind man, would you really go down all those stairs and wash your eyes? I would probably wipe the mud from my eyes and tell Jesus to leave me alone if he didn't have any dinar or food to give me. The man also defended Jesus against the Pharisees! He could have been imprisoned or stoned to death, but that didn't stop him from defending the man who had restored his sight!

In January 1993, I prayed for a blind woman in Latvia who was completely restored. I was walking around the hospital in Rezekne where the doctor was without medication and equipment. God's spirit fell upon me and I prayed for patients who were dying. Everyone was healed. A man had died and the chief physician came and asked me and my team to pray. Then the life of the man returned and he came back to life. For 31 years I have walked with the LORD and the word of God is true in the name of Jesus, amen.

My brother was in a bad car wreck, all he got was a couple of bruises and a broken ankle, the driving wheel was pushed in with his chest and he slammed his head on the window, even the doctors were amazed he didn't die or came out with less damage, my mom prayed for hours for God to keep him safe for one morning he didn't come home, he only found out about his where abouts by our neighbor cause the police told her while my parents went out looking for my brother. I thank God for keeping my brother safe, my mom always told me "there is power in prayer"

When I was little my grandma always took care of me because I didn’t have a mom. She fed me, dressed me, taught me how to pray at 6 and we always watched this movie but I never really understood it. Now she has a stroke and is 85. She can’t really hear and sometimes cries over my passed grandpa. Now I want to watch this again and now I truely understand Jesus and what he did. There was one unique thing happened here. The guy who was blind was asked by Jesus to go to pool to wash his face. But all of us know that he was blind. That's the beauty of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He sometimes asks us to do things that seems beyond our capability, but really the purpose of that is just to let us gain our huge blessing that He already prepared for us. About 17 yrs ago, I went suddenly blind... It was six weeks before I could get a referral to an opthalmalogist, who told me it was probably from a TIA or mini-stroke, though by that time the Elders of my church had come to my home and given me a blessing... and a short time later, before I saw the eye specialist, I could see again! The power of God, combined with our faith, is unstoppable. Praise Him in the Name of Jesus!
