So I just looked up the writers for DISHOOM and they are the same people who wrote classics like GREAT GRAND MASTI, PARTNER (which was a copy) and HOUSEFUL. Besides the editor had also worked on the KYA KOOL HAI series. Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, but for the sake of Varun and John I hope the movie is good.

Honestly, I think Varun Dhawan is out-living his stay in Bollywood. Not one movie is watchable, sensible, nothing evokes emotion to say the least. He has done no significant work; work that makes one think he's here to stay. If he were a commoner trying to make it big in the industry, he'd be out by his second movie. Just because he's David Dhawan's son, we have to endure more of his shitty movies (David Dhawan has not directed good movies either). Like father, like son?
