reb84092 That is a good point to mention. It's also worth noting the entire bit was voluntary and any of them could have opted out. Men also seem have a bit more "locker room" impropriety, so would consider this in good fun, as demonstrated by several of the group. Yes, there are those that would be uncomfortable, even just being in the audience, but Barrowman's panels are usually marked as "adult" in nature (for obvious reasons). He does try to make a point though in his flamboyant behaviour that you should be comfortable being who you are, even if that comfort is being able to walk out if you feel opposed to the proceedings.

It IS about who is flying it. You have to like and identify with the main characters to connect with and care about the show. I think the actress that is playing the Doctor is obnoxious, but I wish John Barrowman luck getting back on the show. I guess it helps if your character is bisexual. Why didn't they just make a new show for a female transgender alien? She could even have been a Time Lord the Doctor doesn't know about. Strong women are important, but good, strong men who like strong women are also a rarity on tv. We still need a few good men. What's wrong with men?

He's 50 and looking damned fine - heaps better than me for sure!! He just had abdominal surgery this month...so give the dude a break. He was having fun, and doesn't care what anyone else thinks, Cosplay makes him happy. Besides, a little 'tubby tum' will never dull his sparkle ;-)
