John “Boxer” Mendoza on Being a Former High Ranking Member of Nuestra Familia (Full Interview)

In a new VladTV exclusive, former high-ranking Nuestra Familia member John "Boxer" Mendoza chronicles the turbulence of his early life. Born and raised in the Mission district of San Francisco, Mendoza recounts how his mother became pregnant at 17 by his father, who left when he was just a year old. Due to his mother's struggle with heroin addiction, Mendoza and his two brothers were placed into foster care when he was just two years old. Despite his mother regaining custody when he was ten, she still struggled with heroin addiction. I'm a recovering heroin addict for 10 years clean and sober now. It was and is the most horrible thing I or anyone can be put through. I'm so lucky to have made it out alive but not unscathed. In a week in have to go in for heart surgery for damage I did from shooting heroin...now that I have my life together and a family I have to still deal with shit from my addiction 10 years ago.
