I've done my innerwork with regression, rebirthing etc. and through another video I stumbled on these sessions from John Bradshaw. What a fantastic healing energy is in these. Thank you for uploading! ❤

This work is very helpful to humanity. I have attended workshops with him, in San Diego. He has made a big difference in my life. It is wonderful to be able to go back on the material to see what I have missed. Thank you for making this available!

I am reading his book homecoming and I’m also in Theraphy. My therapist recommended this book and it’s amazing going through life with a wounded inner child. Everything he says is exactly my life. Do you know how I can search for a program like the ones he mentions?

@@618amore do you mean like workshops or therapy? What did he mention? At that time, he was giving the workshops. I am not sure who is following up with his work. He originated and lived in Houston Texas. Google his name and there seems to be some kind of resources on that Wikkipedia page. Also, you can, through reading his work, you can do your own inner work and recruit the right therapist to work with you as a partner. On the Wikkipedia page, there seems to be access to videos he had done for KPBS, the educational TV station here. Goodluck. When there is a will, there is a way. What I am doing with the help of the information and the workshops I did with him in a large group, and have done thru the years is work at reparenting my own inner child. Still work in progress of course. Goodluck!

I read his book so many times I'm glad I can see the materials in videos; from himself. I'm sad because too many people can't reach this kind of information.

Thank you for posting. "Welcome to the world. I'm so glad you're here. I've been waiting for you. I've prepared a very special place for you. I'm so glad you were born. I will not leave you no matter what. Your needs are ok with me. I am prepared to take care of you. I'm glad you're a girl/boy. I love you just the way you are. You will have all the time you need to get your needs met. You can rely on me. I am here to guide and support you in the best way I can" I added a couple. Those affirmations need to be placed all over ever labour ward and home to remember the responsibility of parenthood

They want our children because they are precious and wonderful I just had a hard time getting there and out of denial that my childhood didn’t effect me Me : yeah my dad was verbally abusive and emotional dry, but didn’t do me any harm Dealer: what you need? Honestly they fucked us up and we have to remember that they didn’t get what they needed either

I have watched some videos on orphaned orangutans in the last few days. When you look into the eyes of those orphaned orangutans, you see yourself and your parents. Without the intervention by rescuers, these little guys would die. But simply providing for their physical needs would not give them the skills that they need, nor the emotional support to learn the skills of taking care of themselves and functioning as orangutans. Three square meals a day just is not enough. It is a wild, healthy, orangutan mother that lives a natural, healthy, orangutan life out in the wild that these orphans need. Their human surrogates do their best, taking these baby orphans out into the forest to learn what it takes to live the challenging life out in the wild. It is fascinating to watch these orphans watch their caretakers and absorb what they see and copy that behavior of cracking open coconuts, digging for ants from dead trees with a stick, or learning how to respond to snakes. These are things that the babies would just learn naturally from their mothers, who naturally learned from their mothers. Apes do not come from dysfunctional families. The dysfunction enters their life when deforestation ruins their habitat or when people take them as pets out of their natural environment. We learned from our parents just like orangutans. The problem was that our parents were orphaned, insecure, scared, unsure, and unskilled. They had messed up mamas. Watch one, or two, or three of these if you have the time. Here's one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4vWpaaJfa-Yopo It is not that anything that I have said is different than what John Bradshaw said in this series. But it illustrates what a healthy family looks like and it is the emotional connection that we have with these animals that we are 97% genetically alike. Seeing the orphans' insecurity as they hang on to their "mamas" and to each other as they go off to school to learn to survive in their world will show you, uniquely, what was missing in your childhood. You can observe how they gain confidence as they make their way from beginners and advancing through forest school. It takes about 12-14 years, about as long as it takes us. They actually gain experience and confidence to live on their own. We got a piece of paper.

How about not having much of childhood memories? Especially on the infant and toddler period? How can one heal what he don't apparently seem to know! How can one do the original pain work??

I think you can start from his book ‘Healing the Shame that Binds You’ if you haven’t read it already. You might find some clues in that book. Wish you the best!!!

The fact you can't remember, like me,.may mean we have trauma we just can't get to it hurts so badly. I can accept from what I do know about my parents is they were both very wounded, and they wounded me greatly. No judgement, they just didn't have the skills. My dad really did believe if he provided shelter, heat, food and clothing he was a great father. Done and dusted! At 18 his work was done and we needed to stop bothering him and leave. He'd left to be a construction worker at 15 or 16. So he was very wounded too.maybe this helps a little. Before you go to sleep, pray a little becomes revealed to you. 🙏🏼
