At first, the joke about lawyers had me think lawyers, well... Some lawyers defend the innocent, and do a great job of freeing those who were wrongly convicted, as well as prosecute those who deserve being locked up, so "You probably won't get to heaven" was a bit of a, meh joke... Then, I don't know... maybe just me, but you need to really get the crowd on your side with laugh after laugh, before you ask "any preachers in the house?", and then belittle their service...
