Funny story, On the last take of this song, I saw a wild Zakk Wylde in the corner of my eye and of course I got all scared about having to play infront of a demigod.

What’s your tuning like on 8 strings, John? Is it the weird 6 one, with weirder 7 and 8 strings? Or just F# standard, like us mortals? 😅

John was the one who introduced me to the 8 string, a lot of people say Tosin, but for me it was John. I remember watching EMG TV thing he did way back when, I don't think it's even on here anymore. the OGs will know what I'm talking about. It was mind blowing.

John is literally the reason I got into 7/8 string guitar. I saw him play live with Monuments in Denver Colorado when they had Anup Sastry drum for them. Not sure why their singer wasn't there, but it was incredible watching them go through their songs just instrumentally.
