Thanks for uploading this. One of the best matches of all time in my opinion. For people interested, I dug up some old comments by Jerry and John after match. From the Northeastboard: Jerry Cadorette July, 25 2010: "Sorry to rain on most of your parades. However I would of MUCH rather pulled John in a hook, for then we would not of been so SORE after our match. For some of you to judge my match is almost comical, as each match was nearly 2 minutes long, and was a war! John first move forces my arm open, and therefore limits me to a press! However go watch the video, and see how the second match was won! My wrist was not flopped! I had my hand on top, and wrist straight. But either was John is a beast, and you can't take that away from him! Great job John! And as for the pin, push pause and you'll see it was a pin. As there were so many CLOSE ones, so there is NO dispute. Give it a rest! We will have a rematch I am sure! Until then I will ride out my victory! Thank you to those that gave me praise, and I look forward to the next war, but I need to rest my wrist and hand for at least a week! It is swollen like a water ballon! I just wish it was the end of the day instead of the start ... it made things very difficult. As far as the last match being called parallel ... I can't argue that ... I just expressed that many of the surges you made were fairly in the middle of the table and went below parallel ... BUT your hand and wrist were much much lower than mine ... I just thought it was a bit to center to call ... You are very tough to dig out of that position :) Congrats again. I'm happy with my performance ... look forward to a next time."

Loved this. Although Jerry wasn't square that second match, and it looked like he elbow fouled off the front multiple times. I feel like Jerry always has the most intense and longest lasting matches. If he doesn't smash someone in .5 seconds, it's a 2 min. thriller.

Great comment. My biggest issue with the elbow was the intentional elbow to get a restart and a redo of the strap. He actually stopped pulling a half second before the foul was called.... and it looks like Bill was just warning him.

@@armtv Yea I forgot about that before I posted. I didn't like that at all. It looked like john was about to win position and then he gave up completely to not get that foul and say "the strap came loose." Caddy knows what he's doing. I think we all know John would have won this one with tighter refereeing. Also is it just me or was the pin line too high? But hey they wanted to give the crowd a show so they just let them armwrestle I guess haha.

I don't know what the correct balance is, but somewhere between WAL/UAL and PAL is correct both for the fairness to competitors and for the entertainment of the people.

Vs Vitaly would be interesting. I think against the others he may need to work on his hook more or just on winning center. I think he beats Vitaly mainly since his style is the worst matchup for Vitaly. He may be able to gas Levan but probably loses anyway. Hit or miss against Chaffee since both him and Chaffee could come in very variable form depending on their training and what injuries they're currently dealing with. I think Genadi is possibly the worst matchup for Jerry since he's the most well rounded, enduring and technical of the bunch.
