I bought the LP on release and this was my favourite track of a classic album. It is an amazing performance by John and what a terrific arrangement. Who is the guitarist please? Such freedom and spirituality in his playing .

Most of the songs uploaded to KZbin, which I really appreciate, are cut off at the end and beginning. I'd love to have a full copy of this concert but it seems to be impossible to find...

It was recorded in Malmo, Sweden in 2011. There is a DVD, but you have to search for it.

I kind of agree. The original album had Lowell George (one of the best guitarists of his generation) playing on it, yet the guitar was cranked way down in the mix, and was much better for it. This guy's playing is far too loud and ostentatious.

I can only think John approved. i prefer the record, and this guitarist plays really well but for my taste it's a little too much for the song.
