As a UK fan, I was angry at Calipari for not caring about the program and the fans, and wasting all that talent in the last 5 years. I never wished bad things for Arkansas, was only aggravated that Cal was getting the opportunity to do the same to another program. When he told recruits that nothing had changed, only the place…that said it all. I hope Arkansas doesn’t also waste years, and moves on to better times. UK is in a reset year, but at least we have a coach that loves the program validates the fans. Arkansas should have that also.

Also a UK fan here, what do you expect Cal to tell recruits? He supposed to tell them that his new school is inferior to his old one? At this point, Cal is just a relic of the past and with NIL, he can't recruit as well as he used to.

Everywhere Coach Cal goes people expect a Championship every year. This guy gets zero time to build a program. Every other coach in the nation gets 3-4 years to turn a program around. He had 11 good years at UK and 4 not so good years. That makes him a bad coach? 🤷🏾‍♂️ Michigan State hasn't won a title in forever and you don't see them running Coach Izzo out of town. I understand the expectations to win, but give the guy a chance.
