Congrats Arkansas! You will get to experience talent like you haven't ever seen in Fayetteville; however, you will have frustrations worse than you can ever imagine as you have 5-8 future NBA players on every roster, but still fail to win the conference or get Final 4's. With the talent UK has had the last 8 seasons, a typical middle school girl's basketball coach could have taken those teams to AT LEAST 3 Final 4's...instead of 0 lead by the coaching of Calipari. Cals coaching syle is out dated and he will not change. He has a massive ego. its not going to go as good as the hogs think. Cal never changes or does anything different. This year as we dropped game after game we should have one and 3 in a row at home. UK had never lost 3 in row at home.he said his team was built for March and we seen how that turned out. im so glad he is gone just like 90% of the UK fanbase.

the devil you know is better than the one you dont. uk fans dont understand coach cal was a big reason why they got the players they did. depending on who they hire that can change very quickly. most of uk fans coaching choices like wright, oats, donovan, stevens, hurley are complete pipe dream. scott drew, will wade, and bruce pearl are likely your options and while good coaches i doubt they can recruit at the same level.

I remember an Interview with Calipari where he talked very positive about the Arkansas program when Nolan was fired by Broyles. But then Calipari at another time made disparaging remarks towards Arkansas comparing the program to Memphis. So that was a mixed bag. I think Calipari can get the talent. Calipari has had Mike Anderson type results in the NCAA Tournament of late at Kentucky. I hope he can get some fire back in his coaching.

Sorry, Hog fans. Cal can indeed recruit, but look what he's done with those 4/5-star recruits. Nothing except build a record exiting the tournament and losing to double numbered seeds (Oakland, St. Peter's) in the NCAA tournament. His fan base will be overjoyed winning 20-25 games a year.
