I don't think people get the purpose of this drill.it forces them to run which makes them tired but they must still focus on making layup and catching with both hands.this makes u work on 3 things at once.

Obviously Cal knows a lot more basketball than anyone commenting but this drill I don’t see the purpose. I rather do a rebound outlet and bigs do a rim run or guard does a pull up from free throw line or 3 point line going opposite side of court. That’s a lot of fundamentals in 1 drill

"Perfection" drill yet the person starting the drill at 0:53 travels. Third guy carries at 1:04. They go as slow as high school freshman. Carry at 1:07 and 1:07. Carry at 1:23 Carry at 1:34 Carry 1:42 1:43 Carry 1:50 Carry 1:54 Carry 1:56 Carry 2:04 2:05 2:06 2:08 2:09 Carry 2:13 Carry 2:23 The entire time they were SLOW and sloppy. I didn't see any resemblance of perfection.

Not a lot of passing in this drill...2 hand passing is something they taught in the 70s...skilled players pass with 1 hand...his skill is recruiting and substitutions...watch a game and tell me when a player takes the time to make a 2 handed rebound, pivots to make a 2 handed chest pass to the point guard...*thumbs down*....this is painful...encourage creativity and athleticism which he recruits...this is old man booster speech and needs to stop.
