I agree with Brandon that I've enjoyed Priest as champion. I'd even say that I've enjoyed the promos he's given. I actually wouldn't mind if he beat Gunther at SummerSlam. I posted a similar comment 9n a WWE video, but before all of you call me out, look at it this way: By SummerSlam, Gunther wouldn't have been competing in 2 months. I did see a Fightful article about why he hasn't wrestled, and two months isn't too much time to some, but kayfabe wise, there surely has to be some ring rust. Gunther can be training his hardest for all we know, but competition is how you shake the rust off. Priest hasn't had that problem - he's been relatively consistent simce becoming champion, botches and accidents and all, and is on top of his game. Gunther's been confident ever since winning King of the Ring, so much so that he didn't vare who was champion going into SummerSlam, because he saw it as a forgone conclusion he'd be champion by the end. But there could be wrinkle to that statement. Gunther, in my mind, seemed to have lost a step when it came to big time matches. He didn't take Sami Zayn at all seriously at WrestleMania and it cost him the Intercontinental Championship. In the King of the Ring finals, he inly beat Randy Orton by a hair due to an injury and a miscue by the ref. What if Priest beats him then at SummerSlam? In the biggest match of his career on one of the biggest stages, Gunther's confidence must've been shaken to the core. Meanwhile, Priest would be rightfully touting about his win, really believing in his own hype to where he's more cocky than ever before. This builds to a rematch at Bash in Berlin, in the country Gunther made his name. This is where Gunther becomes champion, whether by Judgment Day shenanigans of Preist's hubris. But then again, it's only fantasy booking. I can see them making Gunther champion at SummerSlam
