Para los que no saben que e un arreglo busquenlo en wikipedia. Un arreglo es precisamente arreglar una pieza ya existente. Esto implica tanto cambiarlo de genero como arreglar para mas instrumentos, entre muchas cosas mas.

For the people that do not know what an arrangement is : Look for Arrangement in wikipedia up. An arrangement is rewriting an existing piece of music and or changing it´s gender.

It was a mere exercise, it didnt had the intention to destroy or improve anything, it was just an exercise to prove the habilitites of a music student in making a new arrengement for any kind of musical piece, by proving this i could pass that subject, i guess it would be something that just musicians and students could understand, thanks =) , oh and i am a male...

So you wanted me to do an arrangement exactly as the original? exactly as Coltrane thought it should be?, its that what music is about? dont you know what an ARRANGEMENT is? specially when the genre is totally changed!, see the idea is really simple, change the style and genre of the original, no make it all over again!!!, if you lke that much the original equinox version i sugest you go and listen to it, since no one has touch it yet, thanks.

Ok. This discussion is really stupid, and it has gone to far. To arrange music is a way to work in the music field. Arrangements can be done to a Nirvana´s song and convert it into Jazz, by that it doesn´t mean that the song is bad(you should check paul anka´s version of smells like teen spirit. In this case it was the other way around, a Jazz piece was converted into a rock piece, and i think it is an amazing job and that the arrangement was very well done.

So you say you are an expert in music?, you probably will want to have your ears checked first. The instruments that i used to record this arrangement are software instruments, i used nothing but my computer and a midi keyboard to record this, so the instruments cant be out of tune since they are not real and are generated by a computer....hmm sorry
