Connally knows more than what he said in this interview. He never believed for one second in the magic bullet theory even on his deathbed. Neither did his wife. So Connally was obviously walking on eggshells .

You're absolutely right. He insisted to the end of his life that the bullet that hit JFK in the back was a different shot than the one that hit him in the back. Which means the "magic bullet" theory was a lie. Which means there was a conspiracy. Many of those present in Dallas testified they heard a shot, then a pause, then two shots in quick succession. The bolt action rifle Oswald supposedly fired couldn't even fire two shots that quickly. The lies told in the Warren report and elsewhere to prop up the phony theory of Oswald as the lone assassin are endless.

But the last shot he describes the sound by clapping his hands and saying "about that loud" which would suggest it was closer than the first sounds he heard. Kennedy was not accidentally hit by the Secret Service; the pieces of his head bullet were matched to Oswald's rifle, which is all you need, but also - and this is major: no one saw or heard a shot from the Secret Service, which they would have if it had happened. It didn't happen.

He softened it out of respect for Jackie Kennedy. For that matter, the public wasn't ready to hear it put that way so soon after he was killed.

Jackie’s use of the word “they” at that time and place isn’t important. In this context “they” means “an unknown person or persons.” It’s like someone walks into a familiar restaurant and says “they’ve painted the walls blue”. The person who said that doesn’t know who painted the walls. He doesn’t know how many people painted the walls. It could’ve been just one person either man or woman or it could’ve been more than one person - a group of men, a group of women or a group of men and women. The emphasis is on *what* happened not on who did it. There’s no way that Jackie could’ve known who shot her husband while they were right there in the moment. It’s been almost 60 years since the event and people are still disagreeing and arguing about who did it. Some believe the Warren Commission Report which states that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK from the end window closest to Houston St. on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building. And that Oswald fired 3 and only 3 shots from above and behind using a WWII era Italian Manlicher-Carcano bolt action rifle. The first bullet missed. The 2nd supposedly entered the back of JFK’s neck and exited the front of his throat and then went on to enter the back of the Texas governor at the time John Connally and exit his chest, then entered Connally’s wrist, exited the wrist and entered the thigh and stayed there and came out with very little damage for a bullet that made 7 wounds in 2 different men hitting bone at least 3 times and also went through 14 layers of fabric. I don’t buy that. There was someone shooting from that window but it wasn’t Oswald. Oswald didn’t shoot JFK nor did he shoot Dallas Police Officer JD Tippit. Oswald had no gun shot residue on his cheek. If he’d fired a rifle he would have. He also had no gun shot residue on his hand. If he’d fired his handgun there would’ve been gunshot residue on his hand. Oswald was telling the truth when he said that he didn’t shoot anybody. Was Oswald “in on it”? Yep. He had a part to play. It just didn’t involve shooting anyone. I have a theory of how it may have happened but I’m not going into all that now.

@@cmm2145 You're right about the "they" stuff, okay. But about the Single Bullet Conclusion, I don't buy that it was 'pristine'. A bullet goes thru soft neck tissue and only gets slightly damaged on the nose, if you will. it was a strong, full-metal jacketed bullet. Then it tumbles and slams into a rib sideways (sideways entry wound) and part of one side gets rather flattened. This slows it down a lot and when it hits - but doesn't penetrate - the wrist, it doesn't get as further damaged as it would have because it was going slower. The faster a bullet - or anything - hits something, the more damaged it'll get. That kind of bullet was designed to pass thru a body (in this case two). It's not bizarre that it didn't get demolished; it got damaged according to it's own unique circumstances.

I know very little about such things so I have no basis for disagreement on that issue. My point is that I’m one of those conspiracy theorists like your mama warned you about. I do not accept the conclusions of the Warren Commission Report. There were more than 3 shots fired and they were fired from various locations by different people and using different types of guns and silencers on some of the guns. There absolutely was someone firing from the so called sniper’s nest on the 6th floor of the TSBD but it wasn’t Oswald. He might’ve been using Oswald’s gun because Oswald was involved in it but it wasn’t Oswald doing the shooting. I believe that the person firing from the sniper’s nest was LBJ’s personal hitman Malcolm “Mac”Wallace. I believe that LBJ not only knew it was going to happen and when and where but he was involved to some extent in the planning and the cover up. LBJ and JFK hated each other. LBJ had been caught doing some dirty business dealings and was about to end up in prison but the committee was meeting on the day of the assassination and when they heard that JFK was dead and LBJ was the new president the committee dropped the whole thing and never pursued it again. Vice-President can be a dead end job unless you make it to the point where you can run for President after the current President leaves office. LBJ had been the most powerful Senator. I forgot the title of that position. But he had power and respect and all that. He ran for President in the primaries and thought he’d win. But the Democrats chose JFK for their candidate. JFK chose LBJ as his running mate for 1 reason. This was going to be a tough election and JFK wasn’t popular in the South particularly Texas. LBJ was from Texas and because he was on the ticket he brought in a bunch of Southern and Texas votes. JFK was going to run again in 1964 but he was going to choose a different running mate due to the shady business dealings that LBJ was involved in. So this was the end of the political line for LBJ and he would never win the presidency. The one and only shot he had at being President was if JFK died in office. So he was totally on board with making that happen. I already said that Wallace was in the sniper’s nest. Another man was there too. I don’t remember all the names. Another man was at the opposite end of the 6th floor. There was 1 or 2 shooters in the Dal-Tex building. 1 on the 2nd floor and 1 on the roof. There could’ve been one or the other or it could’ve been both. There were one or two men shooting from the storm drain from the front. There’s video of the limousine parked at the hospital ER entrance. There is clearly a bullet hole in the windshield that was not there the day before in San Antonio. The throat shot came from the front. The first doctor who saw it identified it as a shot from the front. But then someone decided to use the hole to start a trach and the wound was altered. The ER doctors at Parkland Hospital know a lot about bullet wounds. Parkland was a trauma hospital and still is. Anyone who had a bullet wound in Dallas County was taken there. There was also an entry wound on his forehead just barely hidden by his hair. So another shot from the front. There were also bullet wounds in his back and the back of his head which indicate that there were shots fired from behind. And then there’s the good ole grassy knoll. There were 2 shooters behind the stockade fence. The fence has a little corner for some reason. One shooter was there. A few feet closer to the TSBD but still behind the fence was another shooter. I’ve heard and I believe that this was the one who shot the fatal shot into JFK’s right temple and his head just exploded.

This is so heartbreaking. I wouldn’t be born for decades after this, but this story always breaks my heart. The video of Kennedy seemingly gesturing towards his throat breaks my heart, the horror he must have felt, and the horror and heartache Jackie must have felt having to witness the man she loves, dying in such agony 😢. As for Connolly what an amazing wife he had that she had the FORESIGHT to immediately know to bring his head down to her lap. That’s love.

Yes indeed, you can see JFK had looked towards the area it came from, and he also noticed the umbrella man, which was maybe put there to keep him looking in that direction. But JFK definitely had that look of pure and utter confusion and shock, as he couldn't take a breath or talk. The gurgling sound made at Parkland, was him trying to breathe, but if at all..very little air going in. He had a furrowed brow after the initial shock, and even at rest, in death..you could see his face not fully relaxed. There were two shots in the back, the neck from the front and a smaller wound lower to the left of the exited neck wound.

Though she wouldn't allow fragments of the bullet to be taken out at Connolly's death, in the autopsy. Strange that. It would absolutely prove there was more than one gunman. Connally was LBJ's politcal protege and trusted ally in Texas, jmuch the same as LBJ to his mentor: longtime and hugely corrupt US Senator from Texas: Sam Rayburn. I suspect Connally was more of a political opportunist, rather than wanting to "... distance himself from LBJ." When Nixon won in 1968, just three months after RFK was assassinated, newly elected President Richard Nixonchose Connally as one of his senior Cabinet Secretaries. Which also proves Connally's preference to serve in Gorvenment, rather than rigid partisan party affiliation.

I've said it over and over there is no proof that Oswald was ever on the 6th floor at the time of the assassination or that he ever fired a shot. Bonnie Ray Wlliams an employee was eating his lunch there between 12 and 12:20. A chicken sandwich and a bottle of Dr. Pepper. The motorcade was running 6 minutes late. An assassin would have no way of knowing that. They would have had to have been up there and ready. No one shot from that window. There was no snipers nest. The Dallas police set up those boxes in all different configurations and took pictures of it. They found the planted rifle which they never smelled to see if it had been fired. They all identified it as a Mauser and changed their story except for Roger Craig. They found a British Enfield rifle on the roof and arrested Wesley Buell Frazier who owned an Enfield. They wanted him to sign a confession but he refused. Recently in his new book, Wesley Buell Frazier finally admits that he saw a man holding a rifle exciting the TSBD and they caught each other's eyes. The man put the rifle in his trunk and drove away according to Frazier. He said he never said anything until now because he was afraid for members of his families safety. Also Oswald was seen on the second floor by Roy Truly and Officer Marrion Baker less than 2 minutes after the shooting. Oswald passed his rifle paraffin test. Also another misconception, he was NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO LEAVE THE TSBD.

The first shot hit Kennedy in the neck and didn't hit Connally. This is supposed to be the "magic bullet". Connally turned to look at Kennedy and doesn't report that he had been hit himself. Then he felt the impact of a shot hitting him but didn't hear the second shot. He saw blood but still doesn't admit feeling pain which would've been overwhelming considering the injury it caused. This impact knocked him forward but this is the shot that hit Kennedy in the head. Given the trajectory of the bullet (sixth floor of the depository) it would have had to enter around the base of his skull to come out his lower neck. Well, you're the one claiming to know what Connally thought. Getting shot didn't give him special powers to know about a conspiracy. Look at what Connally said: he said he heard the 1st shot, didn't hear the 2nd (which he correctly said hit him) and heard the 3rd, which got JFK in the head. After hearing the 1st, he turned, but didn't see Kennedy and didn't know if Kennedy had been hit. It is now known that the 1st shot missed both guys. Connally also said he was hit 5 to 10 seconds after hearing the 1st shot; he said there was NO WAY he was hit only 1 or 2 seconds after hearing the 1st shot. They were both hit by the 2nd bullet; the bullet itself and Connally's back wound both show this. It's the reason the bullet got partially flattened on one side and that his entry wound was oval shaped; the bullet had started tumbling (caused by hitting Kennedy 1st), and didn't go straight in. Watching the Z Film carefully shows his body is twisted slightly to the right and his hand had gone down by his thigh when he was hit. The trajectory lined right up. When Kennedy's arms go up, Connally has a very sharp reaction; his hat flips up (the wrist of that hand had just been hit) and he turns around, turns back, and we see a real reaction of pain. This matches what he said, actually. He and his wife both said all the shots come from behind, up and to the right of them, with none coming from in front. So he really didn't say anything that would indicate a 2nd shooter. He thought he had his own bullet but the evidence doesn't support this.

Connally (correct spelling) heard the first shot that missed and turned back. He then reacted to the shot that stuck both JFK and him. Soldiers in war will tell you that you never hear the shot that strikes you, because your body is in shock from the trauma before the rifle sound ever reaches you, so you do not hear it. Of course he heard the third shot and that was that.

Perfectly correct explanation. Unfortunately, he does not get asked about here, and does not say, whether the first bullet which hit him had first gone through JFK. In other filmed interviews though he says that was perfectly possible. (The first bullet FIRED, which he also refers to, missed the car entirely, and was almost certainly shot just before Zapruder restarted his camera just before the car passed the road sign.)

Ah yes John Connelly: The Democratic Governor of Texas at the time of the JFK assassination. AND A LONG-TIME POLITICAL ALLY OF LBJ IN TEXAS. It was John Connelly who, along with his mentor, LBJ, in May, 1963 lured JFK to Texas for an unnecessary political trip later that fall. A trip that famously got JFK assassinated by rifle fire under conspicuously suspicious circumstances while riding in an open top vlimousine in a motocade in broad daylight in Dallas, Texas. This after attempts on JFK's life in Chicago on November 2nd and in Miami on November 18th had been thwarted by th secret service. So what the fuck went wrong in Dallas, right? We've known for a long time that LBJ had a big blowout argument with JFK in Fort Worth, on the morning of the assassination. The most animated spat ever witnessed by Jacqueline Kennedy in JFK's 1000 days in office, according to her autobiography. The vice president was at that time awash in several major corruption scandals, which were about to go public. LBJ was desperate to outrun those scandals. Few now know that LBJ tried unsuccessfully to get one of his political enemies - United States Senator Ralph Yarborough of Texas - to ride in the presidental limousine, instead of his great friend and political ally John Connelly. Don't forget it was John Connelly who browbeat JFK's advancman, Jerry Bruno, into changing the venue where JFK was scheduled to give a speech intended to unite fueding political factions within the Texas democratic party. Bruno had chosen the Women's Building in Dallas for the luncheon speech and fund raiser, which had just two entrances, a comparatively easy venue for the Secret Service detail to protect JFK. Also the presidential ,limousine could drive right in, very good fo presidential proection. . But Connelly angrily demanded on November 21st that the venue be changed to the Dallas Trade Mart, WHICH HAD 60 ENTRANCES AND EXITS! And had multiple catwalks above the lower floor, from which a sniper might possibly lie in wait for the president! CErtainly a nightmare venue for the secret service to protect JFK. As Jerry Bruno remembered it, at one point Connelly called Washington to try to get Bruno's surpervisor to pick the trade mart as the speech/luncheon site. After that call, Connelly told Bruno that his (Bruno's) supervisor had agreed with Connelly, so ultimately Bruno gave in to Connelly's wishes. Later Bruno checked with Washington and found out that there had been no actual phone call that day at that time by Connelly to the White House!!!! In other words, Connelly faked the whole phone call! The significance of the change of venue was that if JFK was to give his speech at the Women's Building, the limousine would have continued travelling west on Main Street and then onto the Stemmons Freeway. It never would have made those last turns onto Houston and Elm Streets. A lot of secret service shenanigans went down that day, too. Many of the agents, who were prohibited from drinking during presidential trips, drank moonshine in a Fort Worth nightclub club called The Cellar until 5:oo AM! So they clearly were not at their best later that day. Some of them got so drunk they lost their guns and/or their officilal ID badges. Even before JFK's vehicle had left the airport in Texas, one of the leaders of JFK's secret servie detail - Emory Roberts, ordered another agent to stop walking along the side of the car. The running boards upon which the agents normally would stand, when the president's limo was going too fast for them to walk. Instead, they were RETRACTED that day! Someone high up in the secret service, probably LBJ ally and secret serevice chief James Rowley, gave orders to strip away layers of JFK's protection that day. If you compare photos of JFK's motorcade in Tampa on November 18th to photos of the motorcade in Dallas, you'll see a dramatic difference in the numbers and positioning of Tampa and Dallas police motorcycle outriders in both cities. IN TAMPA JFK WAS SURROUNDED BY ABOUT A DOZEN MOTOCYCLE COPS, WHILE IN DALLAS ONLY TWO OF THE 18 MOTOCYCLE COPS ASSIGNED TO PROTECT JFK BY THE DALLAS POLICE NEAR THE PRESIDEMT'S LIMOUSINE. BOTH WERE BEHIND THE REAR CORNERS OF THE VEHICLE,ESSENTIALY PROVIDING NO PROTECTION AT ALL! The driver of the Kennedy Limousine, special agent William Greer, stopped when he heard the first shots insteAd of accelerating away at the first sign of trouble. HARD TO HAVE GREAT REACTION TIME WHEN YOU'RE HUNG OVER, huh sport! While the Kennedy limousine was parked at Parkland Hospital, Greer took it upon himself to take a bucket of soapy water and a brush and wash away JFK"S blood, brain matter, bone fragments and possibly bullet fragements out the presidential limousine! This well before the vehicle could be forensically examined by investigators. Literally washing away invaluable forensic evidence. We now know there was a bullet hole in the Kennedy Limousine's windshield that day, as well as a small, bullet-sized dent on the windshield's interior chrome frame. After lifesaving attempts by the doctors at Parkland hospital, proved futile, the secret service detail literally absconded with JFK's body at gunpoint, completely and knowingly in violation of Texas law! Over the vociferous protests of Dallas Coroner Dr. Earl Rose. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IN 1963 ASSASSINATING A US PRESIDENT WAS NOT A FEDERAL CRIME!!! That made the president's assassination a Texas crime. By law THAT MEANT JFK's AUTOPSY LEGALLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN PERFORMED IN DALLAS TEXAS, RATHER THAN IN A US NAVY TEACHING HOSPITALiIN MARYLAND. The Bethesda pathologists, Humes, Boswell and Finck, had never done an autopsy of thisscope or importance!!!!! The less than ideally qualified navy and army pathologists had no experience at forensic medical legal autosies. THEY WERE ALSO UNDER SUPERVISION BY VERY HIGH RANKING US MILITARY GENERALS AND ADMIRAls. TO PERFORM A LEGL MEDICAL AUTOPSY! In short, the secret service weren't merely incompetent at protecting the president. No, they deliberately took a serious of 15 steps, all of which violated their own presidential protection protocols!! This left JFK and Governor Connelly vulnerable to gunfire from multiple angles along the entire Dallas motorcade route. And then they knowingly took steps to tamper with or destroy forensic evidence. That was no mere imcompetence; rather, it appears to this writer to clearly show the culpability of several secret service agents in the plot to assassinate JFK! So, yeah, Connelly and LBJ were a total pair or crooks. I'm reminded of the old adage: "... If you lie down with dogs, you'll wake up with fleas!!!

"55 secs" heard this sound (shot one), then I turned to look over my right shoulder "1:06 secs" , so, he is not hit, so the wound to JFK's throat hasn't hit JC, no magic bullet, then... Also over 4 other missed shot's were documented, there were over 6 snipers shooting at jfk, re: 3 snipers from the front & 3 from the rear 1. South knoll fence corner area re: 403 commerce st truck which was the neck shot re: northern end Badge man so to speak, but it was james files was about 30 ft along the fence area, which is the frontal head shot which basically took the back of jfk's head off, the back wound was from the western end of the TSBD, which was the first shot that conolly herd & hit jfk in the back re: 7.65mm Masuer with a 6.5mm barrel on it, which just happens to disappear, after it get told on national TV as well, re: 7.65mm Masuer rifle, re: Perfect sniper rifle ? Also the Records bld re: Missed shot that hit the Drain cover concrete, which is still to this day there & photo's of the grass area as well, which on the day were taken, also the chrome strip on jfk's car re: GG-300, which would have come from the DEL TEX bld & connollys hit to the arm pit or the records bld shot, also his wrist shot was from the West end of the TSBD, which end's up going into his leg, but if you look at the NARA pictures of the bullet fragment's, just the connly fragment's it's too much weight for CE399 full stop ? & to this day the question is never raised why the Connolly family said NO to Investigators re: the ARRB to remove the fragment's that were left on connollys body after he died, i wonder why, due to the fact they would not match up with CE399. also more importanly the 6.5mm rifle was tested by the FBI & they found it was not shot that day & also OSWALDS Parrfin TEST's & finger Print TEST's are all NOT Evidence to this day, re: Not 1 court would except them in court due to how badly they were done & that the only suspect they have & no recording of what he had to say & also NO LAWYER Present at the time of questioning, these are all REAL BEST EVIDENCe questions that to this day has never been answered? 7071t6 Wow they really brought in some lousy shooters. Actually there was ONE shooter on the 6th floor of the TSBD and he wasn't a great shot either. No question he was aiming for JFK's head but the first shot missed. The second shot hit Kennedy low and entered his back and exited his throat and struck Connally. It had to have hit Connally because there he sat in front of JFK and a straight line from JFK's throat points exactly to Connally's back and his back wound fits perfectly with a full metal jacket bullet that has started to tumble which ballistic tests done last year and 10 years ago shows will happen every time after penetrating test material simulating JKF's body. . Then the third shot didn't hit JFK cleanly in the head but struck him on the right side of his head. While not being a bullseye shot, it was enough to kill the President. The Zapruter film proves JFK and Connally were struck with the same bullet. Connally says he immediately knew it was a rifle shot and turned to see if the President was struck and to see where over his right shoulder they shot came from but he couldn't see the President so he was in the process of looking to his left when he was struck in the back and knocked forward. The Zapruter film shows Connally suddenly looking to his right but apparently JFK thought it was a firecracker or engine backfire as he is still waving and smiling at people when he disappears behind the sign. As he emerges, if you look carefully, he and Connally are shot at exactly the same time!! Then Connally hears the third shot and blood and brain tissue is splattered all over himself and his wife who are lying down now just in front of the Kennedy's. The employees of the TSBD where on the 6th floor and heard the 3 shots being fired just above their heads. Harold Norman also says he could hear the hulls hit the floor and the bolt action noise after each shot. So that is where the shooter was located. No question about that. Nope. Just ONE shooter and he was on the 6th floor of the TSBD.
