I stumbled on this from another video and was amazed that I had used this intro myself in one of my own songs apart from one note (the C9) Fortunately when I checked back it was written a year before this song so no plagiarism and it is totally unlikely that John Mellencamp heard mine. It does prove though that there is only so much originality available and in fairness to both of us the songs are different after the intro. Thanks for posting. Very interesting.

Add the count, you showed us each part but not the timing and how about a play through? How do you get from the main body to the bridge and solo section? The transitions.
