I dont know about electrical code running different wires in the conduit, but I do know electrical lines running near ethernet will interfere with your signal. Keep that in mine if you run into satelite transmission issues. Thats why home ethernet lines are kept at least an inch from electric lines in your walls.

Have you considered a well house over that tank? Obvious decent size task to make the foundation also protective of the tank but its a possible solution.

You can straddle the trench with the tractor. Just lift yourself and slide with the backhoe. That will get you off the trench

Looks like you have 2 maybe 2 1/2 conduit I would have put the communion wire in 1/2 conduit inside the 2 or 2 1/2 to keep it away from the power cable

I get that you want to use your own equipment and all but it Seems like a rental trencher would have been way easier way to do that project.

If I didn’t have the tractor, yes. The tractor can do many things, usually slower than their dedicated counterparts. A mini X is faster than the backhoe, just as a skidsteer is quicker than my loader.

Just out of curiosity why doesn’t the water tank install company come back and fix the problems? Obviously if it leaks it wasn’t installed properly in the first place. I hate hiring stuff out because I usually end up disappointed. I guess the old saying if you want something done right you just have to do it yourself is about as true as it gets.

Could be a rock hit it on the back fill so not necessarily there fault

Then that means the wrong material was used to backfill. Their still responsible IMO.

That's what I actually thought they would use. Apparently they are more expensive, but what made the concrete acceptable was less or no chance of it floating out of the ground if it goes empty. Right now I would rather have plastic.

That is aggravating when you do everything the manufacturer says and the installer says and it still doesn't work like it should...
