John Deere 1170E & John Deere 1270G | POWERCUTTING

Here we have a JD 1170E and a JD 1270G. Of course one operator is better and yeah the video is waaaaaay too long, but I didn't want to cut it short.
The video could have been a 1hr clip, maybe next time! :D

I would have gone crazy if we had that short lenghts of lumber here in sweden. and it is horrible to forward

We never get a chance to cut stuff this long, we cut 8.5 feet long, and our trees are mostly hardwood and very crooked compared to you guys. If you want to see low production, come over to the states, we've got hardwood so bad you'll only produce 40 m3 in a day

@@reubenmccrann2050 our timber is from 3.7m up to 5.7. Sometimes we cut even 6.1. But we usualy dont sort the logs by length. Depending on what saw mill we cut to at the moment we get programed lists that the machine works of, so the mill can get as mutch lumber out of the logs with minimal spill
