John Deere 2305 hydrostatic power unit update

New Input shaft Installed into the Hydrostatic power unit and then the camera decided it was going on a union Break.. Sorry for the Abrupt ending. Another update is on the way.
Drive shaft LVA802632
Input shaft is JDLVA802586

NAPA makes greaseable u joints that have the zerk on one of the caps so you can get at it from underneath. It's a bitch but cheaper than all of the trouble you have gone through. Thanks for posting this video, used pumps go for twice what your parts cost :(

For some reason the housing came up enough to let to little piston and springs fall out ....now what??

Did they all fall out and get mixed up or just one or two of them come out?

They all fell out I believe I was able to keep them in order but don't know which cylinder they go in

@albertfilla7517 I'm afraid that I don't have a simple answer for you bud if they all fell out of both there's no way to really tell I don't think which one it would go in you could take one and try to fit it in but I think they're probably both the same size

Can you just drill an access hole above that u joint through that fucking rubber floor? I have a 2305 from 2008. It has about 800 hours on it. When you eat the devils corn, you will choke on his cob.

Problem is it's not the rear you joint that's hard to get to grease it's the front one cuz it's all up underneath that fucking plastic ass Dash

Would it not be cheaper to have a machine shop just fabricate a new driveshaft for this green turd?

If it was my machine I probably would have thought about looking into that option but probably about time you get into labor and parts you'd wind up with the same amount of money in it if you just bought it from John Deere
