It's quite obvious your 425 has been used rather harshly. But it's nice to see what great job you did beinging back to decent condition. Very good job with both your mechanics and your video production.

Super helpful Foggy! I need to do some work on the 54" deck for my AWS 425. I know I'll have to do a full readjust like this when I put it back on.

I noticed on my X300 that JD does a piss poor job on setting up the machines in the factory and pre delivery. Last yr I had 1 deck wheel that was wobbly on my X300, I noticed wear in the center where the plastic wheel gets bolted. I didn’t want to buy a new one so I cut a piece of copper house plumbing pipe and used it for a spacer. It worked great.😊

Best video on the net, regarding adjusting height. Just wondering how you set the manual height adjustment. Did you put the indicator in the middle so you would have more manual adjustment after the hydraulics hit their limits, or were you at the max with the manual height? Other literature mentions the final adjustment should be manual, hence the reason for it. Please add your thoughts to these questions. Really struggling with an old rusty one that scalps, your video has been a super help.....
