In addition to cleaning the filters, I've started adding Kill-Em Oil & Biodiesel Anti-bacterial Treatment.

My filter ring was TIGHT! Had to use large channel locks. The plastic threads on this ring are kinda crude...it is a little hard to remove and install.

Put a bit of anti-seize on the threads

@@billybobs841 the only leaks I've had are coolant leaks. Took a while but I managed to get them all stopped.

I took mine out and cleaned it two years ago. Now I'm doing it again, Does that sound about right?

It depends on your fuel source and how long it sets unused. I try to run the fuel level down below 1/4 tank then I fill it up. Every time I fill I treat the fuel with (Kill Em) which is a diesel fuel biocide which will kill the stuff that grows in diesel.. So far so good

Thanks. I’ll look into getting some

Ended up getting something at John Deere. A little safer than kill ‘em. Mix one ounce per 10 gallons. Getting too old to keep laying under my tractor.
