John Deere 5095M the jungle of Maine

This area had the largest softwood cut a few years back and last year I took one of the JD6430 tractors with the big bush hog and knocked down all the heavy brush. Now I can maintain it with the smaller tractor and slowly keep expanding.
There are several large stumps leftover from the logging so going slow is a must. The bottom of the 5095M has a custom belly pan that a friend and I built out of 3/8 steel. The end of the video has pictures of the belly pan.

I did go to camp the other day with my Jeep but I didn’t know the SD card was almost full in my GoPro and it only filmed 1/4 of the ride. I’ll try again in a day or so hopefully there are still leaves left.

It took my friend and I over 4 days to build that belly pan lots of cutting and test fittings. Cabin is still on going.

That’s why the bottom of that tractor is covered front to back in 3/8 steel plate. This winter I am contemplating building a cab guard and limb risers.
