My Dad always wanted a 530. It was somewhat easier to find a 520 and consequently, I now have the two 520’s

I totally agree! That's not what a otherwise beautiful JD 530 should sound or look like. It's right up there on the not to do list like stepping on superman's cape, drawing against the Lone Ranger or peeing into a hard wind, you just don't do it! Ron. P.S. I'm 76 yrs old, my 1st tractor was a 730.
