The 60 looks and sounds darned nice! I grew up with an "A" with a trip bucket and a narrow front I had contracts do remove all the snow for summer people on the lake we lived on and I would be on that A for 10 hours at a time after a big snow. The only time I ever got cold on it is when a guy on the other side of the lake called and wanted me to clear his driveway and road going into it, the drive was about 5 miles each way and it was -19 degrees it wasnt bas when actually moving the snow but it sure got cold doing the drive there and back. My dad sold the A many years ago but I think whe owned it for at least 45 years. I went crazy and went modern with a 1959 730 diesel wide front electric start it gets used primarily for CRP maintenance now.

Great video, looks like a lot of fun. Makes me want to bring our 60 back from the dead. My grandfather had a 45 loader like that one on his A and then switched it over to the 60 a few years later when it still had a single front wheel.

MichaelTJD60 thanks for watching! This 45 loader was also on my dads old A before he bought the 60. Crazy how good these old two cylinders run.

C&J FARMS haha dang that’s a lot of snow, hey was he wearing a bright yellow sweatshirt at the auction? Cuz he was definitely there
@cjfarms22396 жыл бұрын
yes, it is lol, and i saw him and thought it was him, he was in yellow sweatshirt, so it was him haha did he get anything?
@LocustMotorWorks6 жыл бұрын
C&J FARMS haha that’s awesome you should have talked to him! Nope they didn’t buy anything they were looking at buying that 12row planter
@cjfarms22396 жыл бұрын
i thought about it but i wasnt sure if it was him for sure haha well that planter went for like 22k, then the monitor brought like 6k, it went for a lot, but the 2144 combine with 37k of repairs, and it went for 24k lol, that was the real deal of that auction, besides the l9000 truck haha
@LocustMotorWorks6 жыл бұрын
C&J FARMS yeah I heard about that truck, wasn’t the box on it worth about 20 grand by itself?
