Looks like a nice clearing project Andy. I’m dealing with a fuel issue on the skidloader too. You got lucky. LOL. Turbo 65 hp Ford New Holland. Drew in some nasty fuel that destroyed the transfer pump. Changed filter and pump. Cleaned inlet screen to the injector pump. Wasn’t bad. Cleared all lines supply and return. Bleeding injectors it is just little more than a dribble. For now I am scratching my head. I don’t have the fancy diagnostics like your Deere. Lol. The nasty fuel had water and floaty rust FYI. Oh yeah I sucked out the tank and flushed it and put in fresh clean fuel. Any hints for a poor boy ??

What kind of injection pump is on the machine?
@tractorman44613 жыл бұрын
@@AmericanTradesmen it’s a Lucas pump. Today I pulled the fuel solonoid and reinstalled it without the plunger to make sure it wasn’t sticking closed. Verified good flow through filter to injector inlet out of the transfer pump. With one injector line removed from the injector pump it barely more than oozes out. No real pressure to speak of. Barely bleeds any fuel AT the injectors and there is little pressure behind what does bleed out. We may have to ask Charlie for some help Andy. LOL.

@@tractorman4461 Charlie said unfortunately it sounds like the injection pump to him 🤷🏻♂️

@@AmericanTradesmen well I just about have to agree with his diagnosis. Considering the expenses involved in rebuilding or buying new I was hoping for a miracle answer that was a bit less costly. LOL we have a company called Diesel Injection Services here that rebuilds any pump back to specs. But it is costly as the devil to say the least. But I don’t even want to entertain the thought of a new one !! Thanks Andy, for corroborating my depressing thoughts…..unfortunately. LOL. Pat ol’ Charlie on the head for me will ya ..??

@@tractorman4461 I sure hate it for you, I’ve diagnosed a couple with those same symptoms and it’s NEVER what you want to hear…and Charlie says thanks for the head pets.

I have a Deere 650K and I am also getting the Low pressure fuel error. I also changed the filters which did not seem to help. When I removed the filters since my tank was almost full I had a lot of fuel spilling out, hard to believe I have a restriction on the inlet. I have blown back through the line just to be sure but currently have not ran the machine since I did that. My active pressure when starting is between 4 and 5 PSI , what pressure are you getting ? Has the problem stayed away ? I am thinking about changing the lift pump out but it comes as an assembly with the filter housing for a price of $1200 Thanks, Mike

Having same issues with my 650k xlt ever figure anything out with replacing pump ?

I got a Deere Tech to come out and he figured out the issue, something was corrupt in the computer, he re-flashed the Computers, I think there were 3 one was a motion CPU not sure of the others but that fixed the issue. What prompted him that something was wrong with the software was when the pressure went to 0 in never went to the - state on the display. In my case he also found an issue with the Alternator which I wonder it that could have corrupted the CPU. If you will send me your Email address I will forward you a copy of the service report. @@jldlandscape4899
