Nice set-up. That sheller does a nice, clean job. I have a JD 43 sheller. I used to use it when I used to harvest ear corn. I would grind ear corn for the cattle, but shelled corn for my hogs.

It's so cool the equipment you have, im mesmerizing watching you use your equipment and listening to your 720 at work.

Dean Deere about 1963 dad traded for a 1959 730 standard on gas and a 4-14 pull type plow. In 1964 we moved bock on a river bottom farm. The 730 worked hard plowing the heavy black soil. In 1965 dad traded for a 1965 4020 diesel row crop standard , kept the 4 bottom plow. We still have some of that heavy black soil. It is amazing soil ! Happy New Year!

We had a neighbor who picked all of his corn on the ear and uses a sheller like this sold he'd have the husks to use as bedding and the cobs were burned with oak fire wood to heat the old farm house.

What is the moisture content of the of the corn this year, looks like it's shelling good. Are you going to use the shelled corn for ground feed or with cubes for any sows you have? We feed shelled corn with cube to the sows in the winter on frozen ground, limit feeding program. We grind the ear corn for cattle feed with bean meal and micronutrients, large hole screen just to break up the cobs.

The amount of corn coming out of that pipe is pretty slim pickins compared to the amount of corn going in, is there something wrong or does it just look that way
