Look at Dad getting on his knees, crawling into the harvester, getting dirty, and fixing things. He doesn’t ask people to do anything he won’t do himself. 👍

Daniel, it's so great to see that you include all of those that make things happen on your farm! Your videos are as close to being in the field as you can get. Your dad always amazes me with his vast knowledge and his can do attitude. Hi granny!

When we're rushing to finish a harvest ahead of the weather, a lot of people see us start picking at 10 AM and love to talk about it, thinking that we're goofing off at the Cafe or riding around in the pickup. They don't see the countless hours of cleaning and servicing the picker before we can get started picking. That work HAS to be done. Thanks Daniel for these informative videos that show all the work that goes into a harvest.

Good Morning Granny! Had to chuckle as Danny and Dad fought those fans on the air conditioner below the buddy seat. It's just damn amazing what kinds of things John Deere can engineer and place under those things just to make working on them just a bit of challenge. Reminds me a working on a counter shaft bearing under a 7700 jump seat. Great videos. You all have a really great crew working on the farm. Be safe!

It is interesting to see the cotton picker process, it looks like the pick up header is extremely sensitive and the upkeep is very manual, surprised there isn't a better process, but maybe that is just the best the engineers can do.

Not being from a cotton state(North Wisconsin) how do you sell a bale of cotton? Is it by the ton or so much per bale??
@deangelojeremitriusvickers63197 ай бұрын
By weight and the gin picks it up in most cases
@ebryce027 ай бұрын
Sell it by the pound. 500 lbs = 1 bale
@deangelojeremitriusvickers63197 ай бұрын
@@ebryce02 500? Ours are 5,000 +/- pounds but of course only get about 30% on average after the seed is removed
