The biggest problem I had after I built my big shop was I kept filling it up with projects!!! Lol. That's a deep dive, look fwd to the refurbishment... that tractor is better than any new model 140 +- HP tractor for 1/5 the price, rebuilt "brand new". It will be worth doing, we've done 3 and the good cheap reliable flexibility around the operation makes those old rebuilds invaluable, got a show room 4020 that we bought new we've been 1 owner it's whole life, I use it to run conveyers! Be careful, here comes 2023!!!

Hi Jon. Hope your well! Is it possible to fit a heater valve incorrectly? I’ve just had my aircon sorted bits it’s still pumping warm water round with the knob right down. If I clamp the heater pipe off the aircon is good which makes me think it’s the valve which is new.
@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms37542 ай бұрын
@@danielallerton1805 I don't know how you could install it incorrectly but them valves don't always turn the greatest to throw inline water valve down at the engine bay or at the cab corner to shut that water line off isn't the worst idea
@danielallerton18052 ай бұрын
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 no I didn’t think I could get it wrong really but I’ll Double check. Yea I may put a tap in line somewhere. Thanks.

@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 hey John. On these 55 series. Is it right that the hot water for the heater comes from the engine and straight to the evaporator and is regulated on the way out? According to the manual my pipes are the wrong way round somewhere
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 well that’s what I’ve seen but isn’t that backwards? Shouldn’t the Tap be before the evaporator?

Thank you for the in-depth detail. Great video. Just lots of hours like most projects. You using mostly Deere parts or jobber?
@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 Жыл бұрын
for the cab almost all aftermarket, deere is just to expensive. for transmission parts i get deere, and not the deere alternative. that alternative line of parts is pretty bad sometimes.

Hello. If I want to change the speakers on a 55 series. Can I just undo the screws round the edge or will I have to re glue some of lining?
What are grain markets doing fellas? What's basis and old crop vs new crop cash bids look like? SE NEB. $5,50 cash bid corn Dec 23 new crop, $6.80 June 23 old crop Soybeans $12.80 Dec 23 cash bid, old crop soy $15. Bullish? I'm thinking the bear is coming out of hibernation! Excellent video I usually replace the evaporator core because like the one your working that foam pad that was above the core has rotted and is so stuck in the core fins and you can't get any air flow thru the core and the cooling capacity of the system the same with the condenser core. Keep up the excellent videos

Jon some times on my 4430 the blower fans come on when you turn the switch on some times they don’t where do you think I need to start
@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 Жыл бұрын
You could just try changing the switch but honestly I would lift the camera up and follow the voltage. Are you getting voltage through the switch when the fan isn't working? Are you getting voltage to the fan and they're not working?

Love watching your videos! Have you ever had to fix a sloppy throttle on a 4020? Mine is loose and out of adjustment and I’m wondering what all it would take to fix.
@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 Жыл бұрын
If you look how your throttle works you're rotating that steering column. You follow that down by your clutch and brake pedals that side little sheet metal comes off and then you'll see the linkage coming from that tube on your steering down to another Pivot Point and then Goes to the injection pump so you just follow that linkage and look for where there might be some slop

@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 Okay thank you. I know there’s slop where the column rotates haven’t gotten down to the linkage yet. Happy Easter!
