I totally agree on the littering. It absolutely amazes me the kind of people that do that kind of thing. Around here, there’s people that literally bring their trash out here and dump it on the side of the road…! I was on my way home yesterday and someone pulled off the main road to our backroad and tossed 8 sheets of old used drywall in the ditch! Blows me away…

I fashioned a catch trough out of a piece of rain gutter to direct the oil from filter away to the catch pan. I drive a gutter nail through the filter to drain it while it is threaded to the engine.

Hey Bill! My Gravelly has a Kawasaki engine and the dealer in Florida told me that Kawasaki said to run synthetic 20/50 the same as the wheel motors. So I did so when the dealer here in Missouri he used 30 weight regular oil. So now I have more 20/50 oil I may never use. Where my oil drains they put in a device to where to use a ten millimeter socket and the hose kinda hangs down. But getting the oil filter off is a pain in the arce. Too much stuff in the way to get it out. So it makes a big mess. Who designs this crap! Onetime changing the oil the pan had a crack in it and the oil went everywhere.
