There will never be this type of entertainment again because there could never be another John or danny! How marvelous to be able to see this again and enjoy it! I saw a concert of Johns in 78 and I knew there would never be another one like it.

people, i'm so happy i could just cry. this video is magic. when i hear danny do a duet with john singing "i'm leaving on a jet plane" i gotta tell you tears come into my eyes. there are so many wonderful comments about danny i've been reading lately watching his wonderful videos and someone wrote somewhere; "i love danny so much it actually hurst." that's exactly how i feel right now. thank you for sharing this exceptional video with us. thank you so much.

Please people, before giving a post the thumbs down, make sure you've understood it properly. A post from a month ago got "too many negatives" for no apparent reason other than people must have misunderstood the writer's intention. Why? Because English isn't the writer's first language. And before criticizing someone's English ask yourself how many "foreign" languages you can write in, let alone speak! Thanks for considering consideration - and thanks to the uploader for a great clip!

I remember that when John Denver did a duo performance with Frank Sinatra at Lake Tahoe it was sold out in 15 minutes. Danny Kaye on his show gave me a lifetime's worth of laughs. Two phenomenal entertainers.

Two wonderful entertainers that will never be forgotten for what they have left behind. Why oh why can not the modern artists model this talent and have the hearts of these 2 men?
@kayleighbaker78022 жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness!! This is a duo I never would have put together. I always see John in stuff from the 70s. I always see Danny in stuff from the 50s. I loved this video. It made my heart so happy, I only wish it was a better quality so I could really see their faces in detail. But the great thing is that they're both so expressive, in body and face, that you can still tell how much fun they're having. I have never seen John Denver dance around like that, and watching him fall over into Danny... Oh I loved it. Every minute of it. Thanks for uploading!

Thanks for the post. It was very entertaining. I've always liked both of them. I once saw a clip from the Ed Sullivan Show. Liberace was the guest. He gave a wonderful demonstration of how different a tune can sound based on the style of play, by playing the same tune at least 6 different ways. Danny was the same way with languages and accents. I seem to remember reading that he grew up in a part of NYC that had a lot of immigrants from many different countries, so he was exposed to a lot of different languages from an early age.
