The lengths some people will go to try and conceal their wrongdoing is clear in listening to John Ehrlichman. There is honor in admitting one's mistakes. Ehrlichman had no honor. I guess that is not surprising when his behavior was modeled after Richard Nixon.

Almost every single president has done this or worse.. Only Nixon got caught... Oh and its a fact Obama bugged Trump headquarters using a lie as an excuse

Pine hawk..... Nixon hired some very dangerous people whose only purpose was blackmail or worse. Reverting to another President scandal doesn't make it ok or less. Wallace being shot and Kennedy "accident". Coincidently happened in this short period. Democracy was under attack by Nixon, FBI, CIA and these roughup like the "The Plumbers". How do we get a fair election in 1972 if Reagan, Bush and Nixon throw candidates in jail, (O'Leary etc) or worse. Funny how all these criminals keep reappearing. Funny how they all are deep Republicans and funny how democrats are the ones being shot. Kinda makes you think republicans aren't as honest as they want the news to portray. Nixon never stops lying. Helps Reagan lie later. Lawyers and politics don't mix. Trump went to the Soviet Union as a president it would be national security for a candidate to do such undermining. Obama should had have this in proper legal terms. Obama did however enact more legislation about open privacy laws that have undermined all of the US citizens. that's a much more disturbing act to me. Obama lost my vote after that. That and all those lies in Syria, Hilary in Liberia. Protecting the president isn't need if he didn't set up this devious group in the first place. FBI leaks are the only way america was finding out all the illegal act the CIA was up to...the FBI being involved also half the time unwillingly. These include Vietnam coup, Cambodia bombing, mongoose, drug trafficking (Opium...ie heroine, codine, OxyContin etc)in Afghanistan was already happening etc If congress was voting none of these operations would be approved.

Interestingly enough, his name, in German, means "honest man". (Or is derived from that anyway: Erliche means Honour, and Mann, means man). honest man

Having lived during the time of John ehrlichman's involvement in Watergate how can anybody sympathize for this man? His crimes were numerous. After looking at several montages of him he looks more like a mob boss than a political figure.

I close my eyes and hear more than a passing resemblance to Nixon's voice. Erlichman must have spent too much time in the presence of his boss.

Crimes? Suppose you think think Ellsberg was a hero after his pentagon papers lead to the deaths of US allies and assets overseas. You sleep under a blanket of national security provided by the sacrifices of other people. Read some actual history and inform yourself before commenting.

G. Gordon Liddy died 03.30.2021 at ninety years of age. Malign as he was, G. Gordon walked the walk until Carter commuted his twenty year sentence after four and one half. Liddy had a good run after release as an author and talk radio host.

I thought Liddy was deceptive about the operation He had to know the real reason for the break in,but the explanation he gave was pure lunacy. He was also willing to murder John Andersen. The Nixon White House got off easy.

whining about John Dean's honeymoon...
@michaelknight247
@michaelknight247 2 жыл бұрын
Fakeguru There is more to that honeymoon then meets the eye. Also that comment "most expensive Honeymoon" is one of many to give John Dean a personal threat in public but only a few knew it even happened. pretty obvious to me that Deans married for 9 years with a kid divorced in 1970. Wedding in October 1972 to a possible call girl Maureen "Mo" Kane (Biner) who is mention in the book Silent Coup. with close ties with the "Madame" in question with the Democratic elect committee that just happened to be in the watergate office that was broken into and secretory ms Wells phone was tapped and her drawer was opened. It's also in view of the HJ hotel room that was used as the lookout. Gives a lot more reason for Dean to abruptly switch gears and steal hunts safe and other behaviors pre and post break-in)s) listen to Deans explanation at Camp David "My wife made it clear...." watergate is nothing without Deans collapse. This Ehrlichman is exactly like Nixon and the other lawyers ... they throw a couple bones to acute observers!
