Fantastic playing , listening to John Fahey is like listening to Aron Copeland 's Appalachian Spring or Virgil Thompson 's Plow that broke the plains , to my ears it's very American sounding full of a sense of great space and history , what beautiful sounding guitars you build .

This is one of my favorite Fahey compositions. It is beautiful, yet has that slightly weird edge that John often projected. You play this well, Tony, and that guitar is gorgeous to see and hear.

Wonderful Tony. Your guitars have such "twang." I know it's not a subtle word, but it's a subtle effect. Plus across the board tonality, the mid-tones don't dominate, the uppers don't grate, the bass is steady as she goes. John was the Henry David Thoreau of the guitar. Only the essentials, sucking out the marrow of the music. What a tribute you have created. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Tony...I'm a bit late to this one but glad I stumbled across it. Just starting on it...thanks for showing your mad skills. I'm using a Bourgeois LDBO to play this and it works well...going to switch over to D'Addario nickel bronze which I recently installed on the D-18 to my amazement.
