I have been to many concerts over the years by top local and big name international artists, and I can put my hand on my heart and say that John Farnham would have to be THE best live performer out of all of them. He has an uncanny knack of making it feel very personal. As mentioned below, it feels like you are one of his friends that has been invited to a jam session! Even now he can show artists a thing or two about performing live. Just look at him with Coldplay at Sound Relief.

John's version of You're the Voice is the one song that sets him above all others. The song is getting lots of attention thanks to David Archuletta singing it on American Idol. Though David did a nice job, he can't even begin to touch John's power and absolutely unreal range. Wish John would have gotten more attention in the USA. I'm still hoping he'll come out of semi-retirement soon and grace us with a few live appearances or at least a couple of TV spots. I just LOVE the man!

He's brilliant! When he sang "You're the Voice", the audiences went absolutely manic during the bag-pipe chorus! "Burn for You", is another song that is just so beautiful, I cry.

John Farnham war als Vorsänger für ein ZZ-TOP Konzert in Köln/Deutschland eingeplant. Kurzerhand Karten besorgt. Dann leider seine ABSAGE! Die Karten für Köln kleben immer noch unzerissen an meinem Kühlschrank. ZZ-Top war mir doch sowas von egal... Jetzt isset nich mehr schlimm, ich kann seine Songs selber singen! Im BAD! Die Fliesen an der Wand haben mich noch nie ausgebuht! Hmm, nur die Fugen vergessen sich und wollen durch den Abfluss... Harr harr
