alydon2 There is limited time in the concert halls, and on classical music radio stations, and it seems as if Ireland has been overshadowed by Chopin. Thank goodness we have You Tube and uploaders like suono2012.

+alydon2 It needs a couple of top concert pianists and conductors to push it. Field's music is worth a much bigger audience.

Well, Chopin's Piano Concertos are a long way from being his best works, but they're still immeasurably better than this! Truly vacuous. Apparently, he was an outstanding pianist, but as a composer the poor man had about as much musical imagination as a magpie! Thanks for posting anyway.

I disagree. Field's instrumentations blow Chopin out of the water. His style might not be immediately amicable as Chopin, but that doesn't mean his music is of less quality.
