I love the theory that Undead Nightmare is a story Jack wrote casting his father as the hero and using his journal for the colourful characters he met, firstly because it's a way to let John live on in some way, and secondly because it suggests Jack lived long enough to settle down and write it. I hope it was a bestseller, and that Bonnie Macfarlane got a pre-print copy.

When I first play this game I was scared as hell. Couldn't even leave blackwater at all than 4 years later I finally man up and beat the game exploring the world doing side quests and finding hidden items or lore in the world and man it was tougher than I thought and finally got 100% completed game. That was on xbox 360❤
